60 executives. One room. No slides.
CAIM is a closed-door session for senior life-science executives who are making real decisions about clinical AI. Not evaluating it. Making decisions about it.
Structured conversation, not a conference.
CAIM sessions run for a full day. There are no keynotes, no vendor presentations, and no panels. The format is structured conversation: a facilitator, a set of prepared questions, and 60 executives who have agreed to speak candidly about what they are seeing, what is working, and what is not.
Attendance is by invitation. Companies are represented at the VP level or above. The session is conducted under Chatham House rules — participants may use information from the session but may not attribute it to a specific speaker or company.
What gets discussed
Agentic AI in trial operations
Where agentic systems are delivering measurable value today, and where they are not. Specific use cases, failure modes, and regulatory acceptance.
Regulatory posture on AI
FDA, EMA, and PMDA positions on AI-generated outputs in regulatory submissions. What is acceptable, what requires a meeting, and what is still undefined.
Build vs. buy vs. partner
How companies are structuring their AI capabilities — internal development, vendor relationships, or partnership models. What is working at scale.
Data infrastructure
The data quality and governance requirements that make AI systems work in clinical settings. What most companies underestimate.
Talent and organization
How companies are building the internal capability to operate AI systems — not just procure them. The organizational changes that are necessary.
What is next
The capabilities that are 12–24 months away from operational readiness, and how to position for them now.
Who is in the room
CAIM sessions are attended by senior executives from pharmaceutical companies, medical device companies, CROs, digital health companies, and life-science investors. Attendance is capped at 60 to maintain the quality of conversation.
